In Gaza findet ein Völkermord an den Palästinensern statt, Deutschland unterstützt das. Ich finde das unhaltbar. Die Regierungsparteien und auch die Opposition von Deutschland unterdrücken die Stimmen derjenigen, die versuchen sich zu diesem Verbrechen an der Menschlichkeit zu äußern. Ein trauriger Höhepunkt ist die Auflösung des Palästina Kongress 2024 durch die Berliner Polizei, bei denen ein jüdischer Aktivist verhaftet wurde.

Ich persönlich habe mich seit langem von politischen Aktivismus zurückgezogen und diese Webseite ist vielleicht nicht das richtige Mittel, um diese Nachricht zu veröffentlichen. Leider sehe ich in beiden Fällen keine andere Lösung, als diesen Text hier zu veröffentlichen.

In Israel, wie auch in Deutschland versuchen die Mächtigen und Teile der Bevölkerung uns Minderheiten als „selbsthassende Juden“, „Islamisten“ und vergleichen „LGBTI die Palästina unterstützen“ mit „Hühnern, die freiwillig zur Schlachtbank gehen“. Diese letzte Aussage bezieht sich auf die Verfolgung von LGBTI in Westjordanland und insbesondere in Gaza.

Ich bin selbst LGBTI und dieser Vergleich ist lächerlich. Wer solche Aussagen macht hat nicht verstanden, dass Pro-Palästina nicht mit Pro-LGBTI-Verfolgung gleichzusetzen ist. Wer das Bombardement von Gaza Unterstützt, unterstützt das einseitige Bombardement von allen Opfern, seien sie nun LGBTI, Aktivisten die LGBTI unterstützen oder Leute die das nicht tun. Selbst wenn alle Menschen in Palästina meinen Tod wünschen (was nicht der Fall ist), so würde ich nicht deren Tod wünschen. Weder Gaza noch Westjordanland sind ein Monolith und eine Änderung der Rechte von LGBTI ist möglich in einem friedlichen und demokratischen Palästina. Ich unterstütze ein freies Palästina nicht weil ich ein „blindes Huhn“ bin, sondern weil ich einen Völkermord sehe wenn ich ihn vor meiner Nase habe.

Ich schließe mich den Forderungen des Palästina Kongress an und empfehle allen sich dem anzuschließen. Des Weiteren habe ich mir Gedanken gemacht wie ich Wählen soll. Regierungsparteien, aber auch Opposition unterstützen den Krieg in Israel. Die Unterstützung von der Partei „Die Linke“ ist manchmal so, manchmal so. Außerdem kritisiere ich die Linke für ihre Anti-Ukraine-Politik. Ich habe mich deswegen entschieden für eine linke Liste zu stimmen in den kommenden Kommunalwahlen. Auch wenn die Kommunen keinen Einfluss auf die Politik der Bundesregierung haben, so kann ich dennoch im Protest wählen, ohne anderen zu Schaden, indem ich den großen Parteien meine Stimme entziehe. In der Wahl des Europäischen Parlament werde ich wohl MERA25 wählen.

In Gaza a genocide is happening and Germany supports this. I find this untenable. The government parties and also the opposition in Germany suppress the voices of those, who try to talk about these crimes against humanity. A sad climax is the dissolution of the Palestine Congress 2024 by the police of Berlin, at which a Jewish activist was arrested.

I personally did not take part in political activism for quite a while and this website is maybe not the right way to publish this message. Sadly I do not see another solution.

In Israel, as well as in Germany, the powerful and part of the population try to label us minorities as “self-hating Jews”, “Islamists” and compare “LGBTI who support Palestine” with “chicken that voluntarily go to the slaughterhouse”. The last of these statements refers to the prosecution of LGBTI in the West Bank and especially in Gaza.

I am myself LGBTI and this comparison is ridiculous. People that wrote this do not understand that Pro-Palestine is not to be confused with Pro-LGBTI-persecution. Someone that supports the bombing of Gaza, supports the one-sided bombing of all victims, no matter if they are they LGBTI, Pro-LGBTI activists or others. Even if all people in Palestine would wish my death (which is not the case)… even in this case I would not wish for their death. Neither Gaza nor West Bank are a Monolith and changes in the rights of LGBTI are possible in a free and democratic Palestine. I support a free Palestine not because I am a “blind chicken”, but because I can see a genocide that is in front of my nose. [some context: The German proverb “A blind chicken also sometimes finds a grain”, means that someone incompetent also getting something right. I interpreted the comparison of LGBTI with chicken, as referring to us as “stupid” in a roundabout way.]

I support the demands of the Palestine Congress and recommend everyone to support it. Additionally I did think about voting in the upcoming elections. Government and opposition parties support the war in Israel. The support of the party “Die Linke” (communist party) for Palestine or Israel is sometimes the one way, other times the other way. Additionally I criticise the Anti-Ukraine-politics of “Die Linke”. I am going to vote for a left list in the upcoming municipal elections (lists are small communal groups that you can sometimes vote for in Germany). Even if the municipalizes do not have an influence on politics of the federal government, I still can vote in protest, without causing damage to other citizens, by not voting for the big parties. In the elections for the European parliament I will probably vote for MERA25.
